In 1998, two extremely dedicated Textiles & Apparel Studies students at Western Michigan University founded MODA (Merchandising Opportunities and Design Association). These students formed the organization in efforts to connect students with similar interests and passions for the fashion industry. MODA is the largest fashion organization on campus. Every year our organization produces two fashion show to allow students to showcase their talents in production, design, styling, and modeling. Evolving from an organization starting out with just two students, MODA continues to strive for innovation and progress each year.
